Nandi and NTR awards presented!

With impending elections round the corner, Andhra Pradesh state government gave away Nandi Awards for year 2005 and 2006, NTR awards for years 2003, 04, 05 06 at a glittering ceremony. Never did before the awards ceremony conducted such a grand scale. Amidst the speculations that heroes Mahesh Babu and Nagarjuna would support the Congress government on the stage, the awards ceremony created enough curiosity among the public. Although the government used the stage to show off their star power, the stars actually didn’t make any political statements nor did they support the government on public dais.

Nagarjuna who is actively participating in campaign of government schemes also didn’t utter anything that can be termed as political statement. Mahesh Babu’s brief speech was all about movies.

NTR National Awards

NTR National awards were presented to the legendary figures of South Indian cinema Superstar Krishna (for year 2003), Maestro Ilayaraja (2004), Kannada actor Ambarish (2005), and actress Waheeda Rehman (2006) were honoured with the NTR National awards.

Veteran producers D Ramanaidu and M.S.Reddy awarded with Raghupathi Venkaiah award for year 2005 and 2006 respectively for their contribution to the growth of film industry

Telugu Super Star's Krishna &           prince  Mahesh Babu are going to  attend nandi award function held on 16th Nov to take awards won  for NTR Award and Best Actor award    2nd Heroinn of the forth comming SuperStar Mahesh's  movie is conformed. A new and beautiful girl from Banglore is going to act in this movie and the foto section is going to be held at Hyderabad with in two days. The shooting of the movie is going to start at railway station set in Ramoji Film City  Ravi is conformed as art director. He is asst of art director Thota Tarani , and also did some SS Rajamouli Movies.  This movie shoot will be held at Jai salmeer , Jaipur , bharath pur and some desert locations.  If Vijayan mastar's dates are available he will join the shoot.. other wise Peter Haynes will be joining the shooting spot in Rajasthan.  Director Trivikram Srinivas arrived from South Africa yesterday night and also met Mahesh Babu.                                         courtasy: manamahesh.com

Mahesh - Trivikram Movie in July 2009!

The Pre-Production work for Superstar Mahesh's upcoming Movie has picked up momentum. Director Trivikram Srinivas along with a Make-Up artist from Mumbai have done the Make-Up test for Parvathi Melton at Padmalaya Studios today. Namratha Mahesh along with Cinematographer Sunil Patel, Bulli and other Production managers were also present at the Make-up session. The director along with the Cinematographer will be leaving to Namibia and Rajasthan on 29th of this month to finalise the loactions before the shooting begins.

The regular shooting will start in Rajasthan from 10th or 15th of November. This schedule will continue for 45 days including 12 days in Namibia. Major action sequences on Hero will be shot in Namibia.

Among the lead cast Parvathi Melton, Naazar, Prakash Raj, Brahmanandham, Sunil, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Ali, Venumadhav have been finilsed till now. Manasa, a Bollywood costume designer will be doing Mahesh's Costumes for this Extravaganza Entertainer. The makers are planning to release the Movie on July 18th, 2009. Bolckbusters like Superstar Mahesh's Rajakumarudu and Superstar Krishna's Vajrayudham were released in July.

MAHESH FILM IS STARTED VERY SOON..!

Finally! the good news for which Prince Fans across the world have been eagerly waiting for the past several months has arrived. And princemahesh.com proudly brings it to you for the first time exclusively. The camera's for Mahesh's upcoming movie under the direction of Trivikram Srinivas will start rolling from the 3rd of November.

The 1st schedule will begin at Ramoji Film City and will last for three days, then the unit will be moving to Rajasthan where the major part of the movie will be shot. The unit is planning to complete the shooting in a rapid pace once it begins. The later schedhules and the rest of the cast will be known shortly. Mahesh will be leaving to Mumbai on the 16th of this month for finalising the look and costumes for the movie.

Bulli to work for Mahesh's Film!

Bulli (Hemambar Jasthi) who has been a close associate of Mahesh since Rajakumarudu is working in the direction departmet for Mahesh's upcoming movie with Trivikram. This is not the first time Bulli is co-directing Mahesh's movie. He has already worked for Vamsi, Okkadu, Arjun and few other movies for Mahesh in the past. While the director is busy in zeroing in on the second female lead and other pre-production part of the movie Mani sharma is getting the tunes ready. Sunil will be playing a vital role in this complete entertainer. Negotiations are going on to rope in a Bollywood costume designer for Mahesh. If things work out Manasa (w/o director Sidharth Anand), who has designed Ranbeer's costumes in Bachna Ae Haseeno will be handling this task. Most of the movie will be shot in various parts of india like Rajasthan, Kerala, Mumbai, Hyderabad to name a few. There will also be a foriegn schedule which will be shot in Namibia (Africa) and some other place which is yet to be decided. Some crucial action sequences and songs will be canned in foriegn schedule which will begin in a couple of weeks. The makers are planning to work in non-stop schedules except for the travelling breaks. As a part of this they are planning everything to perfection so that not much time is lost once the shooting begins. Meanwhile Mahesh has left to Chennai on a family trip , from where he will be travelling to devotional places around Nellore and will return on 10th.

superstar countdown will starts soon !

Mahesh Babu and director Trivikram’s film is finally going to the sets. From October 15th, it will begin its regular shoot in the deserts of Middle East.

Bahrain, the island country in the Persian Gulf, is the place chosen for its first schedule. According to our sources, the unit will be leaving to Bahrain to shoot the major action episodes there in the deserts.

Two song would also be canned there on Mahesh and Parvati Melton. Manisharma is scoring the music.

After finishing the Bahrain schedule, the unit will straight away head for Rajasthan and complete another schedule there. The film is a romantic action drama.

Search for another heroine is on as Tamanna expressed her displeasure for giving her second lead.

Mahesh Babu’s film is all set to go to the sets in October. Director Trivikram has just recently finished a special

photoshoot on the film’s lead pair – Mahesh and Parvathi Melton. Mahesh’s wife Namrata is overseeing the

pre-production work; she has created new look and designs for her husband in the movie.

Currently a fashion designer in consultation with Namrata is giving final touch to the dresses and the look of the

superstar. Parvati will also be having special designer wear in this movie. Parvati is the main heroine while Tamanna

plays equal role but hers will be, technically, the second lead.

Produced by S Ramesh, the movie is a romantic action drama and it is not going to be titled Varudu (earlier it was considered for the movie). A new title is currently being discussed.

Mahesh - UTV - Gowtham film from Jan

UTV Motion Pictures, one of the biggest corporate film brands in India, is expanding into South. It has decided to produce more films in Telugu and Tamil.

UTV has already entered into Telugu with Mahesh Babu’s Athidhi but this time it is directly involving in the production. Their next film in Telugu is with Mahesh Babu again and Gowtham Menon would direct it. Ram Mirchandani of UTV confirms that the project will go off in a couple of months

. Gowtham Menon is currently finishing his Tamil film with Surya - Vaaranam Aayiram. After that he will be moving to Mahesh Babu’s film.

Wondering what happened to Trivikram’s film? Well, Mahesh has to adjust his dates to work for two films simultaneously.
